REACH Students Recognized at Signing Day

reach  Congratulations to the new class of REACH Georgia scholars! Selected for the class of 2025 are Mason Carey, Ethan Cleveland, Emily Evans, Jashon Gaines and Trinity Wilson. These five  students were among more than 40 nominated students at Hart County Middle School, and were selected following an interview process with members of the REACH Hart Board of Directors.

Students were recognized Friday, Oct. 11, at the official Signing Day ceremony, with Dink NeSmith, president of Community Newspapers, Inc., as the guest speaker. Rep. Alan Powell, school board members, city and county officials, members of the scholars’ families, the current 9th and 10th grade class of REACH scholars and the entire 7th and 8th grade were in attendance at the program, held in the Lonnie Burns Fine Arts Center.

Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen (REACH). That is a powerful statement, and it is one being repeated in Hart County and throughout Georgia.

Now in its third year the REACH Hart Community Education Foundation (REACH Hart) Program has partnered with REACH Georgia to encourage Hart County Charter System students to seek higher education and broaden their options for future careers.
