NEGA Ag Expo set to draw Region's Agriculture Experts

Agriculture professionals from across the region will gather on Saturday, Sept. 11, to give the public a first-hand look at the industry free of charge.

Local farmers, professors from the University of Georgia, and other industry leaders will be among the demonstrators and exhibitors at the Northeast Georgia Ag Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Hart County Charter System Agriscience Center.

Hart County Farm Bureau and the Hart County Charter System are sponsoring the event, which will also feature local food vendors, a bounce house for kids, and a hay ride, in addition to the exhibits and demonstrations.

An Antique Tractor Show will also be on display and participants could receive various awards. A speaker panel discussion with local agriculture professionals is also planned for the expo.

Admission is free, but there will be food and drinks for sale. 

Parking will be at the Bell Family YMCA, located at 281 Opal Ext, Hartwell, with shuttle busses taking attendees to and from the Hart County Agriscience Center routinely throughout the event.
