  • Updated Visitor Policy

On March 15, 2022, the Hart County Charter System Leadership Team met to discuss visitor restrictions implemented during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The following guidance and letter from Superintendent Jay Floyd is a result of that meeting.

According to the District 2 Department of Public Health, all counties in District 2, including Hart County, are considered to have “low” community level transmissibility of COVID-19. In making this decision, officials considered that Hart County’s 14-day case rate and percent positive rate has continued to decline in recent weeks. As of March 14, the percent positive rate was 2.5% and the 14-day case rate was 165 (per 100K).
