  • We will be having Early Release Day on Wed., Oct. 21. Car riders will be dismissed at 12:55pm and bus riders will be dismissed at 1:10pm. Scheduled Parent Conferences are from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Report cards will also go home on this day. If you attend a phone/virtual phone conference, please complete the Parent Engagement Survey below. All responses are due by Mon., Oct. 26.

    Upcoming Picture Day Information...please read carefully!
     
    -We will have Picture Day on Tues., Oct. 27. All in-person learners will have their pictures made and we will take class pictures on this day as well. If your child is a virtual learner, then more information will be going home next week about how to submit a picture for the yearbook.

    -Picture Retake Day will be on Tues., Nov., 10 for in-person learners only.

    -Jostens does not offer Spring Pictures. This will be the only opportunity for your child to have his/her picture made this school year.

    -Please do not wear green on Picture Day/Retake Day as the photographers will be using a green screen as a backdrop. Green clothing will disappear into the background.
     
    -You may preview, personalize, and pay for pictures at www.jostenspix.com using event code FE86920 or call Jostens at 877-515-1447. The school will not accept payment and/or picture orders. You may view your pictures online and only purchase what you want. All picture orders are shipped directly to your home.

  • Hart County Charter System will begin on Monday, August 17, for both in-person and virtual learning.
    To ensure a successful start, please help with the following:

    • Please contact your child's school with any questions rather than posting on social media. 
    • Families are asked to do daily temperature checks prior to leaving for school. Please keep your child at home if he/she has a temperature of 100.4 or higher. 
    • Masks are highly encouraged and should be worn when social distancing is not possible.
    • If you or your child are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please stay home and contact your child's school.
      • Fever of 100.4 or higher
      • Coughing or new cough
      • Shortness of breath
      • Loss of taste or smell
      • Chills
    • We anticipate more car riders at all schools.  Please be patient and follow directions of staff members at all times.  Parents are not allowed out of their cars.
    • Busses may be delayed as we implement staggered dismissal procedures.

    For Virtual Students

    • For virtual learners, please email support@hart.k12.ga.us with all technology related questions. Please do not email the school. 
      • Each teacher should have communicated expectations for logging into your child's Virtual Classroom. If not, contact your child's school immediately.
      • Attendance will be taken each class period.  After the first week of school, middle and high schoolers will become responsible for this by checking-in through Infinite Campus. Directions are forthcoming.
      • Usernames and passwords have been updated for all students.  Usernames are student  numbers. Passwords are birthdates (mmddyyyy). (Example: 08142020)

  • Attention Parents/Guardians of Virtual Learning Students:

    This message is only for those that have registered their elementary students for virtual learning.

    Names of homeroom teachers will be emailed to parents by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12. Email addresses provided by parents when registering for virtual learning will be used. If you failed to provide a working email address, reach out to your child’s principal using the appropriate email address below:

    Teacher specific links will be posted on school websites at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12. The links will contain welcome videos. Please plan to view this critical information.
