Mrs. Susan Carman-Counselor

Susan grew up in nearby Stephens County and began her teaching career in Toccoa, Georgia at Liberty Elementary School.  After serving as a classroom teacher for four years, she began her counseling career.  She has a combined 11 years of elementary counseling experience in Stephens and Hart Counties.  She has 13 years of high school experience in Stephens County and is excited to be a part of the family at Hart County High School. Susan and her husband, Ed, have one son, Forrest who is a sophomore at the University of Mississippi.

Claudette Gillespie

Claudette has worked in the field of Counseling for over 25 years and has served as a school counselor at all levels. She joined the Hart County High Counseling Team in 2017 as the College Career Academy Counselor. Claudette and her husband, Coach Rance Gillespie, have one daughter Kennedy. She is a 2020 Hart County graduate and attends Toccoa Falls College. The Gillespie family enjoys sports and love cheering for the Hart County Bulldogs.

Mr. Paul F. Griffith, Jr.-Counselor

Paul was born in Elberton, Georgia and has worked in the Hart County School System since 1989. He began as a high school counselor in 2004. He and his wife, Cindy, have two sons, Cory and Zachery, and have twin grandchildren, Ava and Brennan.

Mrs. Augusta Murphy-Counselor

Augusta grew up in Hart County and was a graduate of Hart County High School where she spent most of her time cheering for the Bulldogs on Friday Nights or on the Tennis court. Augusta is married to her high school sweetheart, a Franklin County Grad. Augusta is excited to be a Bulldog once again and is ready to assist the students of Hart County.

Mrs. Sheila Coile-Registrar

Sheila has worked in the Hart County school system since 1996 as a paraprofessional at both Nancy Hart and South Hart Elementary, an attendance clerk at Hart County Middle School, and as the registrar for Hart County High School since June of 2009. Sheila and her husband Tim have two sons, Jonathon and Tyler and one grandson, Boone.
