Mrs. Augusta Murphy-Counselor

Augusta grew up in Hart County and was a graduate of Hart County High School where she spent most of her time cheering for the Bulldogs on Friday Nights or on the Tennis court. Augusta is married to her high school sweetheart, a Franklin County Grad. Augusta is excited to be a Bulldog once again and is ready to assist the students of Hart County.

Christie Simpson-Counselor

Christie grew up in Hart County and began her teaching career in Habersham County at Habersham Central High School. In the fall of 2009, Christie came back to her alma mater, Hart County High, to teach science. She taught for 15 years before deciding to follow of her dreams of becoming a school counselor. Christie and her husband Kelvin have six children -  Madelyne (Mason) Cook, Gaige (Taylor), Fallyne, Lainey, Rhett, and Hadley. They also have two grandchildren Ryker Simpson and Wrenlee Cook.

Averi Ferguson

Averi Ferguson grew up in Franklin County where she attended FCHS. She received her Bachelor's degree in psychology from UGA, and she is currently working towards her Master's in School Counseling at Liberty University. She and her husband, Zach, have one child, Banks. He is the highlight of their life! Averi truly enjoys serving the students and their families here at HCHS!
