Claudette Gillespie

Claudette has worked in the field of Counseling for over 25 years and has served as a school counselor at all levels. She joined the Hart County High Counseling Team in 2017 as the College Career Academy Counselor. Claudette and her husband, Coach Rance Gillespie, have one daughter Kennedy. She is a 2020 Hart County graduate and attends Toccoa Falls College. The Gillespie family enjoys sports and love cheering for the Hart County Bulldogs.

Mrs. Augusta Murphy-Counselor

Augusta grew up in Hart County and was a graduate of Hart County High School where she spent most of her time cheering for the Bulldogs on Friday Nights or on the Tennis court. Augusta is married to her high school sweetheart, a Franklin County Grad. Augusta is excited to be a Bulldog once again and is ready to assist the students of Hart County.

Christie Simpson-Counselor

Christie grew up in Hart County and began her teaching career in Habersham County at Habersham Central High School. In the fall of 2009, Christie came back to her alma mater, Hart County High, to teach science. She has completed her 15th year in the classroom. This will be Christie’s first year in the counseling department and she is very excited to begin this new journey. Christie and her husband Kelvin have six children -  Madelyne, Gaige, Fallyne, Lainey, Rhett, and Hadley.
