Ms. Bray List, Hart County High School
Ms. Bray List has been teaching for eight years at Hart County High School, which is located in Hartwell, Georgia. Ms. List teaches grades nine through twelve and is over the sports and entertainment marketing and hospitality and tourism pathway. Along with teaching high school students, she also teaches business courses at Emmanuel College located in Franklin Springs, Georgia. Ms. List is a non-traditional teacher who holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College and a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in Leadership, from Piedmont College.

Ms. Tee King, Hart County Middle School
Tee King is currently teaching 6th and 7th-grade social studies at Hart County Middle School in Hartwell, Georgia. Mrs. King holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Presbyterian College. Mrs. King resides in Hartwell, Georgia with her husband. Outside of school, Mrs. King enjoys spending time with her family.

Mr. David Longworth, Hartwell Elementary School
David Longworth is currently a third-grade math, science, and social studies teacher at Hartwell Elementary School in Hartwell, Georgia. Mr. Longworth graduated with honors (MAGNA CUM LAUDE) and earned his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. He also earned his Master of Arts in Elementary Education, and Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, from Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia. He has been teaching for seven years and has taught second, fourth, and third grades. He is a husband and father of three children. Mr. Longworth’s goal is to create a fun and safe environment that is conducive to learning. Mr. Longworth is an influential leader in his church and community. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family, coaching, working out, and attending college football games. Mr. Longworth's teaching philosophy is that all students are capable of learning no matter what learning level they’re on. He believes it is the educator’s job to create a safe haven for learning, accommodate the learning needs of the student, differentiate, and modify any instruction to ensure that the student’s learning needs are being met.

Ms. Melissa Camp, South Hart Elementary School
Melissa Camp has been teaching for 30 years in the Hart County Charter System in Hartwell, Georgia. She taught her first 12 years at Hartwell Elementary School, starting in 1991, in fourth and fifth grades, teaching all subject areas. She took the position of Library Media Specialist (LMS) at South Hart Elementary School in 2003. With this position, Mrs. Camp teaches all grade levels, PreKindergarten through fifth grade. She collaborates with teachers on many standards relating to literature, reading, research and other content area standards, as well as technology integration. She is program administrator for Accelerated Reader, Lexia Core 5 and other programs; oversees the operation of the computer lab; serves as the yearbook editor, Media Committee chairperson, webmaster and represents the Activity team on the Leadership Team.
Mrs. Camp received her Bachelor of Science in Education (Middle Grades) from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA. She obtained a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. This degree gave her certification for PK - 8 grades. She continued her education with a Specialist in Education (Instructional Technology) from the University of Georgia. She is a former member of Georgia Library Media Association (GLMA) and a current member of Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE).

Ms. Lee Canup, North Hart Elementary
Lee Canup will teach kindergarten (all subjects) for the 2022-2023 school year at North Hart Elementary School in Bowersville, Georgia. Mrs. Canup holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Brenau Women’s College of Brenau University. In August, Mrs. Canup will begin her Master of Education in Elementary Education from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia.
Mrs. Canup has been teaching for 17 years; she has taught K-4 (Pre-K) through second grade and an Early Intervention Program. Mrs. Canup and her husband are blessed with one son and two cats.
Mrs. Canup believes that respectful, loving relationships are paramount. She considers it an honor and a privilege to teach and views teaching as a calling from the good Lord above. Mrs. Canup builds relationships with her students by listening and spending time with her students and families. She attends ball games, dance recitals, church performances, and birthday parties. She sends messages/photos daily to her class family and communicates with parents well beyond normal school hours. Mrs. Canup views parents as partners in education and works with families to meet social, emotional, and academic needs of her students. Yearly, Mrs. Canup creates a class family and these relationships continue well beyond a school year. Mrs. Canup tells her students, “Once you’re my baby, you’ll always be my baby.” She says, “I’ll be there when you graduate college and I’ll dance at your wedding reception.” Mrs. Canup’s students know they are loved and believed in, as this is her mission. Mrs. Canup believes relationships must come first; children must know their worth!
