Mrs. Anna E. Smith
Mrs. Anna Smith is the Agriculture Teacher at Hart County High School. This is her eighth year teaching. Mrs. Smith credits her mother for inspiring her to become a teacher. "She is a retired teacher and over my entire life, I witnessed what an impact she had on so many children," she said.
Mrs. Smith said her own high school agriculture teachers, Mr. Chip Bridges and Mr. Brad Dalton, had a big impact on her life. She said, "I had no idea 15 years ago how influential they were, but I sure do now."
Mrs. Smith and husband, Darren, have 5 four-legged children. Horses: Turner, 11 years old, and JT, 25 years old; and dogs: Babee, 13 years old, Bear 4 years old, and Zeus, 3 years old.
